Elkhart, IndianaEssential Job Functions:
Coordinates with Materials and Production to ensure appropriate kits and kitting codes are established and maintained to the highest accuracy
Creates, maintains, and supports all item master data to ensure MRP accuracy
Assists in the development and implementation of tools, processes, and procedures that will be used by Bill of Materials as well as other functional areas to ensure accurate BOMs.
Audit Bill of Materials information for accuracy and completeness, specifically: BOM linkages, Routings, BOM types, and shrinkage, etc.
Performs proper testing and views reporting to ensure a high level of accuracy in support of MRP and model costing objectives.
Interprets and translates source document information to define product configurations and part requirements.
Communicates with designers and engineering to ensure correct interpretation of design documentation.
Supports completion of Engineering change requests and notifications specific to bill of material and selection updates.
Investigates identified implementation issues and processes feedback to update bill of material files.
Obtains information for bill of materials construction from various sources including engineering drawings, specifications, physical line audits and user group input.
Collects data on materials used in the manufacturing process and assigns identifying numbers and descriptions.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree desired
Three to five years Bill of Materials and/or relevant experience
Experience and familiarity with inventory control, kitting, and assembly processes
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Additional requirements include: familiarity with personal computing software (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), MRP systems (Infor:Syteline)
Possesses a strong knowledge of configurator software and fundamental configurator logic
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
Other Skills/Abilities
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical analysis
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
PPE Requirements: Safety glasses, ear protection
