DTC AFTERMARKET PARTS MANAGER

Elkhart, Indiana

Position Overview
The position will require someone with a strong strategic approach and creative thinking capabilities. Individual will need to manage, train and develop a team to accurately fulfill aftermarket parts orders direct to our existing customers via eCommerce and direct communication. The ideal candidate will need to aggressively grow the aftermarket parts market with an emphasis on making this function a revenue generator.

This role will be responsible for developing, launching, and maintaining a DTC eCommerce platform through hands-on, in-depth research and analysis of both historical and existing products. The ideal candidate has experience in DTC sales, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and exhibit excellent communication. This position must successfully partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, BOMs, Operations, IT, and other departments as needed to drive results for the new DTC Aftermarket Parts division.

Essential Job Functions

  • Identify scope of initial DTC product offering (parts, models, model years, etc)
  • Collaborate with corporate IT partners to develop and launch a consumer-facing online order entry platform
  • Develop and execute a holistic DTC eCommerce fulfillment strategy
  • Drive DTC sales to meet revenue and margin targets and other KPIs
  • Create and implement policies for our DTC aftermarket parts division (freight/shipping, returns, SLAs, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of Godfrey/Hurricane product line, OEM parts, Bill of Materials
  • Able to build the ideal team leading with consistent practices
  • Aptitude for problem solving and process improvement
  • Embrace change in staff responsibility, processes, and technology
  • Properly escalate to other departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working directly in an eCommerce DTC leadership role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Remain organized and on task while delivering results in a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven knowledge base in eCommerce strategies and UX/UI development and management
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple departments to achieve goals
  • Team player with a good attitude, willingness to learn, and have the ability to overcome and persevere when difficult or challenging issues arise
