Position Overview
Transportation 1 is responsible for spotting semi-trailers, hauling boats between plants as needed, making load diagrams, and bringing right trailers in for loads.

Essential Job Functions
-Process, package and ship orders accurately 
-Inspect product for damage/defects
-Organize and maintain inventory
-Organize warehouse space
-Keep warehouse and grounds clean and organized daily
-Assist customers to ensure accuracy
-Able to understand and follow the requirements, policies, and guidelines set forth within the Code of Conduct & Employee Handbook.

-Must be able to follow the Company's Safety and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) guidelines

Requirements
-Work inside without air conditioning and outside in seasonal weather
-Able to stand and walk around all day
-Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and bending frequently
-Able to lift and handle up to 50 pounds of material
-Prior experience trailer set-up. This includes building boat bunks and related framing to final strapping of the boats to the trialer to final inspection of the load for proper fastening with no damage to the boats themselves.

Other Skills/Abilities
-Ability to be cross trained
-Ability or prior experience with computers and load sheets (trailer configurations)
-Ability to quickly adapt to changes in responsibility, processes, procedures or work schedules
